Default do i need a map? can i drive it until then??

fitted new turbo can i drive the car until i get a map and is it totaly vital to get it maped the only differnce between the 2 turbos was the old inlet turbine was 2 mm bigger the one i have fitted is a vf 35 dont no what the old one was cheers

If worried connect feed from turbo straight to the wastegate actuator, this will keep the boost down. It's your risk otherwise....

is this the wee skinny flexible hose will i swop them round or leave the one off the wastegate???

DONT leave the one off the wastegate. You will overboost like mad.

soz i am a bit confused now did the other guy not say put the turbo one on the wastegate so what do i do with the wastegate one then?? cheers

Only turbo to wastegate !

LOL

That way actuator will set the maximum boost at (1 bar ?) but it's safe that way even if a bit slower....

The other pipe to the boost control solenoid usually bleeds off boost pressure under control of the ecu....
You don't know what pressure the turbo or actuator are set to operate at ?

cheers would 1 bar be safe to run i have a boost controler which i have turned off and its currantly running 0.4 bar but thought that was even to much lol the car is dieing to go cant wait to get it sortede it literly throws you back in your seat then dies after reach 0.4 bar lol cheers

no.

0.4 bar is plenty til you get it mapped - patience is a virtue
