Most definitely yes..!

It's designed to crush to create a seal without having to over tighten..!

You should be able to get one from halfords or your local motor factors, it's a simple copper crush washer, I'm not sure of diameter (around 16mm diameter) and costs a few pence.

It's not like you can pop a new one on after doing the oil change, as you'll loose a lot of oil, so you could be left with a potential leak until next the oil change..!

Can't you wait until you get one..?

if it was me then i would change it.

some times sump plug washers/seals can be real little buggers to get off so people/garages/tech lads dont change them. this goes on all over the place and if you think it dont happen in main dealers then your very wrong.

Personally i would change it altho it wont hurt if you reuse the one that is on there allready.
If your stuck and you dont want to reuse, put a piece of solder around the plug, when tightened this will crush and create your seal
I done this on my last oil change as i lost the new washer and droped the old washer into the drainer.
