porting your headers will be cheaper and better as they are stonger than most aftermarket headers anyway. i'm on my 2nd set now and if these blow then i will go back to OE ones

What year/model?? You don't need new headers to change the up pipe. As said, very good gains can be found from just porting the oe headers. The same goes for the up pipe also (non newage WRX. If you do go for an aftermarket one then stay clear of any with a flexi bit in the middle or the solid ones. The slip jointed ones are the best design.

Harvey on here can supply you with ported oe headers
"the standard email reply from Harvey, £115 for the porting, £50 for the wrap, £50 for the wrapping work, £15 for dressing and £12 or so for the postage.
total is £242 for the full monty."
You souldnt have any issues with the 2 bolt uppipe at your power level.
