Having occasional cold starting probs. with my 03 STi Have replaced the battery, as a hydrometer check showed a cell going down, so plenty of power there. Iv'e already removed and cleaned crank sensor inc. the contacts. The PSi3 is not showing any fault codes.
There was a thread relating to these sensors recently but can't recall mention of any checks that can be done?
Is there a test eg resistance, that can indicate a problem on either sensor? These things are quite expensive so I don't want to re-new them if it's not needed!
