Just fitted a full decat from the turbo back the car is running fine but im getting a lot of smoke from the exhaust and water too anybody get this too?
Car is a 2.5 wrx hawkeye.

If it's when the engine is cold then it's not smoke it's condensation (looks like steam/white..?), which is why you also see the water. Once the water gauge has hit normal temp it should be fine..

All engine do this, only the cats usually block a lot of it so it's not so noticeable. Gets burned off once cats get hot iirc..

Also, standard scoobs run VERY rich (and smelly) when cold, a remap can sort a lot of this out.

TBH, unless you're planning on getting a remap you're unlikely to see any performance gains from decatting a newage car, especially the later ones.. A remap will transform the car, trust me..!

 

Thanks for that m8 will be getting a remap but not for a while yet.
