I'd stick with the OEM induction (just fit a good filter) de-cat and then re-map
Your TD04 turbo set-up shouldn't need much more modding.... it's got good spool up but doesn't flow that much air to need new intercooler etc.
If you really wanted to fit a new top mount then the Sti OEM would be a good choice

Ah ha! the IHI VF34 is substantially different to the mitsi TD04 LOL
For the bugeye you'll need a bigger fuel pump, bigger (Sti pink) injectors, colder plugs, STi Top mount, de-cat / sports cat and a sympathetic map to keep your clutch and 3rd gear in one piece. Stick with the OEM induction, it's one of the better things on the newage
A change to a 3-port boost solenoid will also smooth out mapping
IIRC the VF34 is a roller bearing turbo but bigger than the VF35 so I'd get the headers ported (harvey) to improve spool.
At the 300 Plus bhp level you might want to change the discs / pads, springs (eibach) and swap the plastic drop links for something more substantial.
I think that's about it
Welcome to the bugeye WRX "Moneypit" !!

MY02 bugeye (ish)

the vf34 to vf35 comparision is fairly common, theres no much in the spool rate if anything, but the vf34 tends to push a slightly higher bhp figure.
your prob gonna be hitting mid 300's with that spec, im running 340 on a vf34and ns04 is running very similar on a vf35, although a bit less due to him still having sports cats iirc?
