Default rattling near wheel, know the cause... how to fix??

hi all. maybe someone can shed some light on my little annoying problem.

as its been sunny, ive had the windows down and have recently noticed an annoying metal tinny noise coming from the front drivers wheel.

so today i get it on axle shands and find straight away what the issue is. its like a metal plate which is around the edge of the connection between the driveshaft and hub/disc area. apologise for my lack of knowledge.

so i gave jase @ scoobybits a quick call and explained. basically he said it was a "**** sealer" or something and it just needs popping back in with a screwdriver.

i dont feel too comfortable doing this, and it seems a lot of hassle to go through to rotherham to have him do it (90 miles round trip).

heres a vid link to give a better idea...

linky...

any help appreciated.

ta.
