Rusty Impreza's???
Hey,
Just bought my first impreza, at the moment the car appears to be rust free. Like to know if there are any areas that are prone to rusting so I can act now before any rust sets in.
Is there the usual need for waxoil inside doors, or am I just a little paranoid, lol

Little paranoid methinks
if it's an import i would advise getting it undersealed as they aren't in Japan.
i see your in Bournemouth so have a look in the southern meets section or here Dorset Scooby's - Index page

Yea, think Im being a little paranoid but just wanted to make sure. Have had experience of so-called quality german cars that are rusting badly at about 8-10 yrs old!
Will def have to check out some of the meets in my local area.

mine had started rusting at the passenger rear arch where it meets the bumper and small spot at the front of the roof top of windscreen.
seems a common enough area, but tbh the painter just rang and it looked a lot lot worse than it really was.
