Default Coolant system problem

My coolant system seems to be getting pressurised from somewere but i cant work out were. It keeps leeking coolant at the bottom rad hose join to the radiator. The waterpump, rad, thermostat and all hoses are new and ive had a block tester on it which showed its not a headgasket.

Any ideas? Im at the end of my tether! Its an sti 2 with an sti 8 bottom end.

Maybe you just need to tighten the jubliee clip a bit tighter, Did you put a new set of jubliee clip set on when you changed over to new hose kit?

The coolant system runs pressurised anyway, if its overpressurised you should see coolant coming from the overflow from the expansion pot behinf the n/s headlight. So check the clamp is good, then double check where the leak is coming from - perhaps the rad has a small weep that is running onto the bottom hose? Just an idea

Its the second new rad ive tried so dont think thats the problem. Il try changing the hose clip and see if that helps.

I put a block tester on mine to make sure the headgasket had not gone, maybe you should try this. If your gaskets gone it can pressurise the coolant system.

Put on a new clip, no more leaks. Happy days!
