Interested to know if theres one for the transfer box as well as the gearbox? Just got a bit of a new noise at the moment like an aircraft landing when I de-accelerate.

as far as i know,its only the gearbox that can be topped up,didnt know scoobs have transfer boxes as such,my old cav 4x4 did but it was an obvious box at the back fo the gearbox,not seen any such thing on my scoob tho....

Oh I thought all 4x4s had them, but i'm probably wrong as per usual with cars!

Yup you DO have a transfer section of the gearbox, this is the part that splits the power to the rear.

It is part of the main gearbox, so there is no need to top it up seperately as it shares it's oil with the gearbox.

If you wan't to top up then you have to do it through the dipstick tube which is quite fiddley.
