Default Modifying crank to accept center thrust

Can someone please explain what is required to run a later end thrust crank (sti 8) into an early closed deck block that uses a center thrust?
To me it looks like the later crank is too wide to accept the early thrust bearing!!!!
Thanks Matt.

You have to machine the block so it takes the rear thrust bearing of the later crank.

Ok cheers mate. Any idea how much this would cost? Also what bearing would you use in the center position?
Thanks Matt.
