My uncle has been looking for a bov, He wants one thats very loud. He has seen the mega sonic one they make. He owns a year 2000 classic it has a prodrive performance pack on the car aswell.

what are peoples thoughts of the turbosmart BOV range? it you don't like the turbosmart BOV what other one would your recommend just remember it needs to be very loud?

 

I had one on my old uk wagon which was a super sonic one with the single port, an if you take the pipe of the intercooler an turn it around so that the short part before the bend is joined to the intercooler it puts the bov under the passenger side vent then you just fit bov with the port facing the vent an they are loud not for the faint hearted

 

how did u get on with having to weld a pipe into the BOV?

 

When you buy them new you get 2 different sized hard pipes an the smaller of the 2 fits the standard hose, you also get a blanking plug to block the recert pipe off with but i have since fitted mine to my golf which needed a pipe welding to it i will dig it out tomorrow an post a pic up for you to have a look
