Default Diagnostics

Can anyone tell me if and where the diagnostics port is in an import 1995 impreza wrx 225 please?

Also, is it a typical OBD II connection?

Thanks, Mark

not an OBD II port think it's under the drivers side dash.

not sure what a 1995 wrx 225 is though?

I had a look there and unless you have to take plastic out then I can't see it! LOL!

I'd never heard of a WRX 225 either until I found it when insuring the car. Apparantly it has 225BHP as stock, hence the 225 in the name! LOL!

It's currently running 271BHP with 267lb/ft Torque which is fairly fun but still far too tame for my liking!

Thanks

Methinks you should check your insurers to get that right as standard the 95wrx runs 260ps.
Might be worth checking to make sure your insured properly (possibly they've misheard and thought its a 2005 wrx i think they've got 225 as standard)

On my 93wrx i can see right under the dash BUT i've only seen them doing diagnostics not where the plug it in.

Wow, maybe there is something out of sorts then! LOL!

I thought the standard WRX's of the 'classic' era were only 215BHP?

I'll have to look into this!

Power wise, all i have is a 3" turbo back HKS exhaust with no cat and only the rear silencer and a Bailey's DV. I don't even have an induction kit, just a standard subaru panel filter.

I did think that 225 - 271 was a fairly big increase for so little power upgrades.
