Another Dump Valve Problem
I had a Greddy Dump valve on my newage and everything was fine, i got hold of a HKS SSQV and fitted it all ok, after a quick test drive i found the idle was lumppy and easy to stall with the car smelling very rich while idling,
also when giving it gas there was hesitation for a seconf before it zoomed off.
Why would the change in Dumop valve cause this?
Does it need mapped for the diaphram type Dump valve compaired to the spring type Greddy.
There are no vacuum leaks or air leaks as far as i can see.
Any help would be great.

Sounds like its adjusted wrong. The valve will be letting in air at idle for it to cause the symptoms youre complaining of.
The valve is set with the actuation to weak so try adjusting it tighter and see how you go.
Go a little at a time until it stops the problem.
