Normally it vents back into the air box. It isn't important as long as the brass restrictor was not in it. Is it still boosting ok?

It doesnt seem to be hittin full boost only hitting about 0.6-7 bar instead of 0.9. where abouts is the pip it vents back in to on the airbox so i can see if the other end is still there and trace it back

Thanks

The fact that the bottom hose is missing will have no effect on the amount of boost being made ...
There shouldn't be any restrictors in it as they aren't needed on three ports...
Check that the smalll bore pipe on the side of the resonator is blocked as you will have an air leak if not , but this will still not effect boost...

I would be looking for an air leak possibly on the intercooler hose between the turbo and the intercooler as the possible cause for your drop in boost...

Well i took off all the inlet piping earlier and checked for leaks no sign so put it all back together all nice and tight took her for a drive boosted fine peaked at 1.0 bar held 0.9. So boosting ok now.

So you say it's the thinner pipe of the two that go into the inlet resonator that goes to the boost solenoid? If so i'll just run some silcone tubing to it and join them up. Would that be ok?

Cheers for your help
