Default AEM EMS on a 99 STi Type-R...

Hey guys,

Does anyone of you guys know if there is a plug and play AEM EMS Standalone for a 99 Ver V STi? I want to get this ecu but needs to be a plug and play system. Anyone know if these are available on the market ?

Daniel

You can get a plug and plug ECU from GEMS, MoTeC, Apexi, Autronic, Simtek, Hydra and probably AEM too. DO you specifically need it to be AEM?

Yeah I'm looking to buy that mate as I had experiencing setting up and got used to it to be honest. Can't find anywere were they sell a plug and play harness for it though thats the thing. Do you know anyone running that ecu on a Ver V JDM Sti ?

If you can set up an AEM I don't think you would have much trouble with a Simtek ECU. The alternative is to get another AEM ecu and make your own harness.

Yeah but the looks of it thats with it seams what i'll need to do. By any chance would you have any idea if any of the ecus you mentioned have a similar program to either the AEM or the Emanage Ultimate cause those are the ones which I'm most familiar with. I didn't like the Autronic that much but only used it for around an hour because I didnt have that much time with it.

Problem is I just need prices for the Standalone and software. Will be doing the mapping myself plus I live in Malta.

I would be interested too in just a supplied price along with the mapping software.
