fuel filter info needed
planning to replace the fuel filter myself ,but since i dont even know where it is ,i need some help , how to fit , what filter should i get ,a subaru one ?

I'd disconnect the fuel pump plug and let the car use up all the petrol in the lines. Keep it running until it cuts out. That will get rid of most of the petrol int the lines, and you won't need to clamp anything.
Not sure if there is a fuel pump fuse thats easier to get to instead of unplugging the pump, there most probably is, but I don't know where that it.

I left my car at about 9 in the morning, started changing the filter at about 1 in the afternoon and f all petrol came out the pipes, so just a few hours should be long enough for the pressure to drop.
Really easy job, only pain really is getting the fuel pipes on/off.
