Default Overfueling? Flooded?

Hi. Just wondered if anyone could help me. I was driving along today in my UK Turbo 2000 and then suddenly lost all power. Pulled over then tried to start it again but it would fire then nothing. There is a big smell of petrol when I try to start it. I left it for a while and went back to start it and it ticked over really lumpy for a few seconds then died. Seems like it's overfueling or flooded to me. Anyone got any ideas??

Cheers
Mark
