mega quick expo

boost - caused by air being forced in to engine by turbo
turbo - turbine that is ran by exhaust gases that spins up and draws in that cold air
Lag - as the turbo is ran by exhaust gases it takes time to spin up to speed, more revs faster the turbo goes but lag is the time that it takes for turbo to spin/spool up. Thus bigger the turbo generally the more lag it has!

boost = lots of fun
turbo = how you get boost (therefore = fun)
lag = the downside of having a turbo (but the above 2 points counteract the this point imo)
