Hello All
Re my Standard 1999 Turbo 2000
Posted last week about MAF. I think I may have a problem with this now. Basically car starts great so no problem. When car is stationary the idle is spot on. When I brake and clutch at junctions etc the revs dip below 500 and back up to normal idle. Never reaches below this and never cuts out etc.
I was looking at the MAF and I disconnected the elecrtical plug connector when engine was running. The engine nearly stalled but kept running although sounded rough. This brought the CEL light on. Presume this is a knackered MAF sensor? I have kept off boost to be on the safe side when driving.
I going to order and fit a new MAF sensor for peace of mind. Car drives good and is still responsive with no hesitation but have driven off boost though.
Thanks all help.
