Default wobbly speedo needle

Hi all,

Got a 94 WRX which has a wobbly speedo needle!! Seems to shake quite badly lower down the dial and then when it gets to about 60 it is far less obvious.

The rev gauge is rock solid, but I think that works in a different way.

Anyone else know the fix for this? Could it be the speedo cable?

It's not an urgent issue, just more of an annoyance!!

You could see if it is connected properly (i've had various speedo issues on my 93wrx so have been getting quite used to trying to sort the damn things out).

Thanks, Going to fiddle with the cable later on to see if it improves but I do remember the old WRX having the same complaint!!

Does the clock conversion thingamy jigg cause these sorts of issues?

shouldn't do but i had my mechanical converter cable snap (from converter to clocks).
But if you can take it all apart and check that everything is connected properly it should hopefuly cure the problem.
