Default what av i broke ???

Just broke a pipe from this (pic below), sits under the ivac unit on a my98 import.

pipe runs from inlet manifold to it, then pipe comes from the unit out and goes under engine toward the turbo, but i dont kno hwat it connect too.

what is it??

is it safe to drive the car without it pluged in as theres is also a electric connection on it?

i blocked the manifold and pipe that run 2wards the turbo and went for drive, seemed ok.

may be me but car seemed much quicker to boost

If one of the vac hoses goes to the charcoal cannister, then its the purge control solenoid - part of the Emission Contol System - its stops fuel vapour being discharged into the atmosphere and buggering up your Carbon Footprint.
