Default check engine light

check engine light comes on now and again ,but will go off as soon as the revs settle on idle. and only boosts 0.5 bar ,had i moted today and only passed emissions ,JUST!could it be lambda sensor?can anyone help

0.5bar and limited to 4000rpm is limp home mode if it's a classic shaped impreza check here on how to read error codes www.jollygreenmonster.co.uk

had a look and could not find the two wires, i have a 99 type r ,so will it have to be plugged in?

nope all classics have the wires have a look on Scoobypedia | Trusted knowledge for everything Subaru | Scoobypedia / Scoobypedia (ECU section) for pictures they may be wrapped up if never been used before but the Select Monitor can be plugged in and the error codes read from that.

did the test, it flashed codes 24,isc valve and 45 pressure sensor. i have only owned the car for a short time, and has a apexi boost controller and noticed some vacum pipes not connected ie a part under boost solenoid, and thought it must be disconnect because of the boost controller,if one sensor is not connected will it affect a different sensor?thanks

also disconnected the sensor with no vacum pipes connected, and reset the ecu, now saying there is no fault
