Default Zero Sports Air Intake Pipe.

Howdo people....

Has anyone had this pipe fitted and does it make ANY difference to power or sound.

Just about to clean my Green filter and decided i might change the intake pipe at the same time.

Any comments?

Cheers

I made my own pipe to do a similar thing on my old scoob, didn't make a lot of difference, but to my way of thinking, it removed the resonator box out of the equation so should give a better air flow into the turbo

Don't use, screws around with the maf in a very odd way. In fact avoid most Z-sports items, the only thing that I've found is good is the Cool stat.

Cheers

I had one on my blob eye made no difference to the noise but I have read that they do make an improvement in air flow though probably not too noticable in the drive but every little helps

Interesting,i would of thought it would be better due to increased air flow but i guess this creates problems of it's own then.

Thanks for the advice.

No it doesn't increase air flow, the turbo suckes the air through the intake that it can take from the system, the restriction is always the smallest cross sectional area, which is the maf tube in the case of a blob eye.
