Unless you're running a FMIC or MAF-less ECU set-up then the OE filter will do, don't bother with an IK. If you want a lifetime unit then go for a K&N or Green panel. but don't expect any extra power, the gains are +/- 2bhp at most over the OE paper item.

 

Had a K&N befoe but it was shot when i bought her!

Replaced with a cheap HKS look a likey but want better

 

If your fitting a induction kit,don't go for one that needs to be oiled. This can lead to MAF failure.I fitted a powertec stainless one on my last car,with FMIC,and had no problems.

 

The only dry filter on the market I would use is the Apexi filter, good quality and also has brackets so you can secure it properly.
