Default Coil-packs in Suffolk

My Scoob is a my93 wrx, and I've been having alot of boost problems as of late. I step on the gas, car accelerates alright for a short period, then suddenly I lose all acceleration car shudders and shakes and of course I remove my foot from the pedal at this point. I've been trying to do a little research and the closest thing I can find is that perhaps my coil-packs are going, I removed a couple of them and I do think I can see a small crack forming. I guess what I'm really trying to find out here is if anyone knows of a garage nearby the Lakenheath/Bury/Newmarket area that specialize in subaru's or at least are able to fix me up with some newer coilpacks. I've beent old the my96+ ones fit perfectly and are not plagued with cracks and misfires

Default coil packs

Hi, i had the same prob a year or so ago, i wrapped insulation tape around the ends to tied me over till i found a supplier and brought new ones.
Mine didn't idle to bad but ran like a pig, esp on boost.
I may still have a spare couple but to be honest there as old as yours are so best to buy new one's.
£200 delivered mine were for full set.

I have heard a rumour that some motor factors are selling them now, so you do not have to go direct to Subaru. I think APS over the road from my work now stock them.
Probably worth poping into your local one to see if they can get a set.

Hmm, I'm hoping that's all I have to do. 200quid's alot of cash for me, especially when I have too many other things I need to buy for the house right now lol.
