Default pics for alloy header tank conversion

i have just bought an alloy header tank as mine split to my exspense, has any one got any pics of there conversion for the early inlet manifolds to take the later alloy header tank, just need a few ideas thats all, thanks phil.

You could use the original bolt holes on the inlet manifold except the rear one.
So mount it more foward only using one of the threaded holes on the inlet.
It depends if your going to keep the orignal coolant hoses. Otherwise you could mount it pretty much anywhere.
I was going to use some tufnol and make my own spacers so it mounts as close as the orignal postion, using both fixing points.
Ive still not fitted mine as I need some longer hoses to the rad.

look at the pics of my profile , you should see my alloy header tank but my car is a P1 , but you get the idea

thanks very much, all sorted now, i just used the front bolt hole, it fits a dream there, cheers phil.
