VF 35 turbo Upgrade?

Default VF 35 turbo Upgrade?

Hi would a VF35 turbo be a good upgrade for 2.5 WRX hawkeye . One is on ebay at a good price and ends tommorrow advice needed.

A good turbo for a low-300s 2.0, but I reckon it would struggle with a 2.5. I'm no expert on it though.

VF35 is a 2.0L STi turbo. These things are designed to match flow/pressure characteristics and I suspect this would not be a match for a 2.5L engine as you're looking for the same gas flow but at a lower pressure. The 2.5L STi uses a VF42, perhaps you could find one of these.
