Default ecu upgrade

got a 96 uk impreza and looking at an ecu upgrade if i source an early prodrive
ecu will it be a plug and play job or will i need anything else

i think the Prodrive ecu came with a decat centre section as well so you may need that.
Personally i would spend some on a remappable daughter board or replacement ecu these options are more expensive but a lot more flexible imo.

cheers for the reply mate running full decat at the minute so no problem there aint got alot of cash put have caught the power bug

You can get a chipset from here PolarPerformance some people don't like them, some have had good results whether you buy it or not is upto you.
