Default Lambda sensor

Is there any way of testing a Lambda sensor to check if it is working correctly?

i believe that you can measure the voltage of the sensor, to see if its within range

If I knew exactly how to test it I would, but I could do with some pointers.

I believe that the voltage of a good sensor is between 0.04~1v fluctuating.
To check it you need a multimeter.
Run the car to get the lambda up to operating temparature.
You need to check the voltage between the lambda signal wire and earh.
Dont disconnect the plug, poke a probe or something into the termanal.

Do you have a 3 or 4 wire lambda?

Thanks for that.

I am sure it has 2x Grey and 1x Black wires and I have a multimeter.

The grey ones would be the heater wires and the black would be your signal.
See what reading you get, earth the meter to the car and stick the probe on your signal.
