PCV to Catch Can
Can somebody clear this up for me please?
I want to vent the PCV to a catch can. Am i right in thinking to re route the PCV pipes that go in to the intake straight to the catch can? and cut off the section where the PCV valve is that goes in to the manifold its on an 07 sti.
Cheers

If you vent the crankcases to a catch can you will not have PCV
positive crankcase ventilation
If you want to do this you need to remove the PCV valve from the intake manifold and replace it with a bung then vent straight to a catch can from the crankcase outlet

I've not found any oil get lost through the rocker breathers on my car.
The IC and inlet got quite oily after my mods were fitted, so I concentrated on separating the oil lost into the inlet under boost.
I kept the PCV but directed the +ve outlet to the catch tank and fed it back to the inlet.
