Default Misfire

Hi does anyone know if a faulty speed sensor can cause the car to misfire?? Car is a STi 4 Type R. Thanks

It won't cause a general missfire, but it will cause the engine to go into "Limp Home" mode, which will restrict your engine to 4,500 rpm & limit boost to 0.5bar.

could be ht leads or coil pack, i changed out the coil pack and cam sensor at the same time and my misfire went so it was one of them haha
