Default sensor wiring/fitting

changing my o2/lambda sensor, my exsisting one has a red.white and black wire

the new one has 2 white and 1 black which ones go where? as i need to swop the plugs over from old one to new one.

the black one should be the signal wire the two white will the heater wires(polarity does not matter) on you old lambda wiring have a look at the plug and the terminal which is gold plated is the signal wire, you don't swap the plugs over becuase the wires wont be long enough you need to cut to size and crimp, you can buy them with the plugs attached from just lambda for just few pound more if you are worried about the wiring side of things.

i have the new sonsor already bud and have crimping bits but just need to know which wire matches up to what?

like i have said above the wire on the lambda loom has a gold plated terminal that is the signal wire match that up with the what it says is the signal wire with the sensor (black) and then connect the others to the heater wires, simple
