ive just brought a 1999 subaru impreza sport awd and was just wondering how much work/cost it would be to convert it in to a wrx turbo? looking at engines they seem to cost around the £600 mark, but i would need it fitted,how much would that cost? is there much more to consider? im quite new to all this so any help or guidence would be very helpfull many thanks!!

 

I may be wrong but it'd probably cost more than trading your current sport in for a turbo or selling it and using what you might have spent on parts on labour to get a turbo model

 

i'll second that, you can pick up a older impreza for £1500 these days
