Sometimes when changing gear the clutch pedal won't return to it's full height, stops a couple of cms short. Any idea why this is and how to fix it, although not a big problem it is becoming a little annoying. It's a 95 STI.

 

check the clutch fork under the intercooler has the return spring on it.. if it does then you need to alter the free play on the pedal by adjusting the push rod above the pedal
