I have a 1995 impreza uk turbo, i warm car up everytime before i set off, after setting off after about 20 seconds or so the car starts to splutter but after a couple of minutes the problem has gone, only does it when i first set off. Anyone else had same problem? or know what it could be? would be grateful for any info.

 

Mine did they same until I changed the maf.

 

Mine does this now, quite annoying really.

Particularly bad when wet, but still does it when dry and very occasionally when first warmed up.

When I checked the fault codes (despite not getting a CEL), MAF comes up and stays even after a reset. I haven't changed the MAF yet so can't say it's that but it's looking likely if Ticky had the same problems

 

My car had the same problem until i changed all 4 coil packs and it's fine now
