This is a strange one...

When i rev the car hard.. or use all the revs... I get this burning smell come through the car.. like a solding iron smell..

any ideas... sorry if this is in the wong section and rubbish description...

car still performs fine and there is no smoke or sight of something melting..

rocket gasket? but i've got no smoke..

Clutch but doesn't fill any heavier...

leaking seal??

 

Only thing Ive ever smelled like that bud is the clutch if ive launched it, it might not do any damage, but it will wear it down slightly.

Id get it checked out bud if it can't be identified, you never know what damage your doing and if the £ might be mounting up the longer you drive it like that, if you know what I mean.
