hey guys my ra box has given up the ghost and i was planning using the one from my wrx.

firstly the box in the ra at present had a code which ends in AA is that not a wrx box and not a ra box?

secondly my wrx has the same code but ends in FA like wise what cat was this from as i thought wrx's had boxes that ended with AA and the ra box should end with BA?

can someone plz confim this and advice what box i'm about the fit to my ra with code ending in FA

If you know what your gear raitos, centre and front diff types, etc. are supposed to be, then you can look across to the correct model and year etc, to ascertain your confirmations/suspicions of the codes you have...

 

What is the full code from the gearbox and what year is the car?
