need a replacement gasket for both ends of my up pipe, where is best place to get these??

the headers are the stainless type from zen with the 3 bolt up pipe, this will be the second time the gasket has blown in 6 months, any one else with this same problem?

I kept having this problem with mine. I was talking to a mate about it (who just happens to work at the UK's largest undergound Gas resevoir as an engineer) He said he had just the thing. It was a spiral wound pipe gasket. It's been brilliant it's never leaked and I've re used it countless times.

If you can source one of these somewhere you'll never have to worry about it again. My car's in bits at the mo if you send me a pm later (to remind me ) I'll take some pics of said gasket.

Changing the gasket to the Manifold is a pain as you have to take the downpipe, Turbo and up-pipe off to get at it
I simply cant get at the top bolt of the 3 bolt up-pipe

 

I keep meaning to get in the garage to do some work on the car. I need to take some piccies for Frayz too.

Hopefully I'll have some time over the weekend and I'll post some up.

Incedently I've just remembered the name of the gasket its a metaflex gasket if that helps??
