Default Car cranks over but will not start

Hi my UK Turbo let me down for the first time in 5 Years today and will not start up. It cranks over ok and the fuel pump is running. No check engine alarm on pannel..... Called out RAC but no good. Any ideas as to what the most likly fault is? I am thinking maybe Crank Sensor or MAF or Water Temp Sender...............any thing else I should be looking for?

Have you checked if you have spark? You can pull one of the plug leads off and use an old plug placed against the block to check. Get a friend to turn it over whilst you watch.

If your not getting a spark then it could well be a faulty cam or crank sensor.
There must be someone local to you who could just swap there working sensor over just to see if yours are faulty, 5 minute job.

Whats your location?

Is it flooded with fuel? Take a spark plug out and see if its wet.

thanks for the ideas, unfortunately my car dose not have leads it has one coil per plug so no ht lead to arc on engine! rac man tried to start it with easy start but no good nothing at all so I suspect no spark at plugs. looks likely to be the crank sensor as per advice. cheers anyway..... :-p
