Default Help - RB5 wont start - imobiliser problem

When I locked my car this morning at work I pressed the fob and the car locked and then unlocked? I locked it with the key as I thought the batteries in the fob had gone. I got new batteries and tried to unlock the car but wont start as it is immobilised.
I have never known the key code to enter into the key pad so is there anything I can do other than getting the RAC to take it to a local alarm fitter?
Cheers for any advice.

My spare key fob worked fine.
No idea why my usual fob would stop working though?

I checked my ecu fault codes and have an error 12 (starter circuit), not sure if the two are connected?
