Take the allen key cover off,it's quite large.Once off, wind a bolt into the rod inside and pull the rod out. This will release the fork, and the box should come off, simple!!

Two bottom engine mounts, top brace,4 engine to gearbox bolts, clutch fork rod, electrics and hoses etc that should be it. Is it moving about just not breaking from the box?

Sometimes you have no choice but to put a screwdriver in between the two to wedge them apart.
Make sure you've raised the gearbox slightly using a trolly jack and also make sure the bottom engine mounts are clear of the front crossmember.
What you don't want is either the engine or gearbox being stuck on the two bottom studs because they are not at the same height as each other.
Get this lot right and you should be able to knock a screwdriver down between the too and free them from the dowls.

no movement atall its solid. Tried the jack under the box and the screwdriver between them. snapped one of my new teng screwdrivers too which just adds to the nightmare. Maybe the stihl saw is the answer

Well guys thats it finally out. Those dowels were right buggers, they held on till the very end. Big bar 2 broken screwdrivers and alot of swearing but i got there in the end. Thankyou all for your tips and help once again here on scoobynet. Now to get the rebuild done and get it back in which i am sure will be another task. Thanks again, Duncan
