Thumbs down Help- I've been an idiot

Afternoon,

On trying to clean my engine bay up a bit, I seem to have dropped a bollock. (99 UK Turbo)

Managed to safely remove the timing belt? cover for painting as it was looking a bit shabby and also removed the nut on the right of it, which i though holds the cover in place, but turns out it was a nice big long bolt for the alternator which has now dropped an inch or so on the right hand side.

Have tried to physically move it, but doesn't seem to want to budge.

Don't want to move the car to a garage just in case this does any damage.

Any suggestions?

Humble thanks

Tim
