Newbie after opinions and advice please!
Looking to do the next set of upgrades on W44BBS (my car), am looking for 400Bhp+ from a 2.5 lump.
I have listed all the work done so far in my "PLUS PROFILE". Rick at "R. E. Motorsport" in York has done most of the work so far on the car, spot on by the way!
Mods we are looking at next are as follows;
Single scroll, ceramic coated headers
Owens 400 Bhp+ Turbo
SFS Induction hose kit
Uprated injectors
Re-mapping
What I am after please is your opinions on wether we are going in the right direction with the car. I have 3-4k to spend and am after reliability as well as performance as I use the car on a daily basis.
Problem for me is that for every opinion for, there is one against. Gets a bit confusing to figure out which way to go to say the least!
Many thanks in advance.

From: Slowly rebuilding the kit of bits into a car...
£3100 + VAT gets you a Cosworth 2.5 with all the right bits in to make 420 bhp !
See Litchfield web-site
Goos luck !
DunxC
P.S. I'd be there, but Rick says he has to fix my wheel bearing first !
Opps ! I should have read the profile....

if it was me i'd make engine a bit stronger i.e pistons maybe rods depending on car use i.e track days and aim the car at 450bhp will cost more than 3-4k but can be done over time and you'l end up with a proper road weapon.
but pretty much everything you've listed will get you to 400 depends on your over all aims of where you want the car at
