Default impreza sport tuning

hi there
im new to the site and i woundered if anyone out there has any good tips on tuning the sport model as i am still trying to get my hands on a wrx

i wouldn't bother mate just save the money for the wrx.
Tuning a non turbo is ****ing expensive

point taken but is there a way of at least making it sound simalar to the wrx,s with the nice exhausts, oh and i forgot to say it is a wagon has anyone fitted 17,s to one as i woundered if the car needs lowering to make it look right

Borla exhaust manifold, I know Sportwagonroy is likely to have a few hints, (user name may vary slightly)...

nice 1 mate ill go with the 17,s out of interest were would i get the exhaust parts and do u know of any good online stores to get scooby bits

Yeah it is expensive chasing power on the sport. been there done that.
best bet is borla type manifold, look on ebay, they are all ok for the sport, around £150 ish, then removing one or both cats free's up a bit of power but it starts to get loud after removing the cats, sounds V nice tho.
but just the manifold will give a very nice burble.

As said, don't waste your time and money chasing power..

I concentrated on the handling of my sport when I had it, and it was great fun to drive and very quick through the corners. It had the advantage of having more grip than power, so you could really throw it about..
