Default Anyone fitted these?

Carl Davey, specialist Subaru Impreza parts supply

has anyone fitted these and noticed a reduction in inlet temp?

I know they say every little helps but is it worth it for say 2 bhp

cheers

I had these fitted to mine, they are supposed to give a better fuel/air mix as well as avoid heat soak.

On another plus, it is so easy to remove/refit induction pipe.

was there a noticable difference when adding the mod? I know its only £75 but you have to buy 2 gaskets also postage so goes to £100.

Just want to see if anyone has seen the diff before part with money

I made my own, only cost £15,and have enough material left to make two more. Also made the header tank spacers too. All you need is a sheet of tufnol,a abro file, and if you have it a dremel to smooth it out helps.
Before the mod ws done, the inlet was quite hot after a run, hard to put your hand on it for any time. Now,you can lean on it fine, much cooler.
