Default turbo Question

ok what turbo do i have on a 95 wrx import its standard, is it td04?

if i was to replace it with a td05 in the future is it a direct replacement i.e straight bolt off bolt on job, or do you need specialsit adapters etc?

and is there anything to look out for as in slight different models? for instande tdo5 tdo5 20g, td05 18g and tdo5-H-20g are these all different turbos?

whats the difference, and would they all be different to bolt straight on, or are some a slightly different shape?

thanks

The wagon will be a TD04, the saloon will be a TD05, though you have not said which one you have?

Yours should have a td05 16G fitted as standard, and yes its not really a different type, just a different size ie the 20 is bigger than the 16
Later cars used the vf series turbo's (99 onwards i think) but it all depends on what you want to do to what turbo you want to use.
