Default Leaking boot seal advice

I've recently found water in the boot of my 04 sti, I think its a leaking seal between the boot lid and the boot.

Is this something I can sort out with some sealant or do I need to replace the entire seal? If it means replacing the seal, is this something I can tackle myself?

Cheers

hello mate,

yea i would just stick some sealant round it, if you do whats its for, i.e seal you wont have a problem.

do it yourself, buy a tube, you can probably see where its coming through, i.e it may look really dirty, in one particular area, pull the rubber off, pack it iwth waterproof sealant and your good to go

recently fixed lights on my wrx with some 'wet grab' dries in wet too
