oil surge protection
whats the best way to protect against oil surge on a scoob?
Also what else do you need to do to make the engine bullet proof for track use and at what point do you need forged internals?

To help oil problems you want to be at least getting a Baffled sump, uprated oil pump from someone like Grahma Goode, and oil catch tank.
As for the engine, depends on what spec you are going to? Do you want to improve on whats there without the worry of increasing power or do you want more power too, as that will affect the type of precautions you need to take.

The ARC sump doesnt seem to have many fans in here or within 22B - seems to be not much baffling going on there and it is a PITA to fit with normal headers from what i can remember.
Paul at Zen had some great baffle inserts for the std sump that would sort it and along with other stuff like the oil cooler and catch can should be all you need.
