Where to get reasonable priced remaps
alright guys got a 93 wrx with full decat exhaust, janspeed headers , induction and boost control etc , but thes engine is runin a lil bit rich , pretty sure some mapping isuse should give more power, bin lookin out the scooby clinc webiste and they want atleast 550 quid for a remap , ive have previous cars remaped and it was never that much , and to think alot of people want and have scoobys remaped maybe there are alternatives? any ideas?

You can't map the ecu you have,so you need to fit a new one, such as the Apexi pfc,or keep your existing ecu and fit a mappable module like the ESL live sugested above.
The esl is the cheaper, and the£550 will need vat on top too. Also, if your going to this extent, then larger 440cc injectors(£60-£100),and a later map sensor(£60+vat) would make sense, and would allow you to run 1.35bar without the need for the boost controller.
This is what i had fitted to my RA,(look at my profile).I fitted everything myself before the esl and map sensor was fitted by Zen. The map sensor will need fitting at the same time as the ecu needs to be mapped to run it.
It made a HUGE difference!
